Went to Stoneleigh over the bank-holiday, saw the gang (hey boys!) and managed to pick up a set of AVO shocks for £60 for me new front suspension.

12th
Bought a set of wheels of E-Bay today, when I picked them up there where monstrous, hope I can make use of them!! Think they are probably too big for the front arches, so I might have to swap or buy wider ones... sure something will turn up!

Had the chop, ooeerr!

31st

Managed to spend some time on the car again! Had the back jacked up and altered and modified the handbrake cable, all working now. Got a bit annoyed when I couldn't find my "locktite" untile after I cleared everything up. Also started work on getting the acelerator pedal in position. Also managed to clean and paint a few more bits and bobs.

Also put a bid in todya for some Mazda MX5 seats, the look pretty good for the project. But I cocked up on my bidding and lost out, the pair went for £82! and they looked superb and had speakers in the headrest which I think will be brilliant in the hood :) Still no matter plenty of time before I need seats, so I'll just keep my eye out for them.

Well they look good and I think they fit, shame I got outbid :(

Been a bit of a spending month, but at least I've had some time to move on with the project again! My aim is to have a rolling chassis and engine/brakes working by the end of the year. Lets see if I an do that at least!
