Had an email today from Anthony Edmonson today "Have seen your advert in the wanted section on the web-site for an Exmo. I have a part built Exmo available for sale - Stainless steel body with green GRP, purchased Sept 1996 - has been kept in a garage since. When I say part built I mean that only the rear wheels and suspension has been fitted therefore I have a nice large wheelbarrow!! All the parts supplied with the kit are still boxed and packed. The engine/gearbox (2L 5Speed) have been covered and stored outside since being removed from the donor, therefore their condition is unknown. Reason for not continuing/finishing the project is both time and health - Started a company just after buying the project and this takes the majority of my time." Well this sounded like an opportunity NOT to be missed, however I had been pulled before by these offers to see heaps of rust, so I asked for some pics.

Well the pics arrived today, quite a few (only a couple shown) and everything looks good!

It was stainless steel (which I wanted) had cycle wings (which I wanted) but no hood, and I would of prefered a series 3a, however at the price I could not argue and so the deal was done. So I wrote back to confirm dimensions (to make sure I could fit it in a luton van) and offered a deposit to secure the deal.

Anthony is due to go on holiday so I'm now waiting for him to let me know when would be the best time to go and collect all the bits. Have to wait now, but this gave me plenty of time to finish the garden furniture I was working on and clean out the garage (which was in a serious state!).
